Overview

The Performance Engineering Intern will support the Engineering Manager and the Performance Engineering team in analyzing the performance of power equipment installed on Helios Towers Madagascar sites.
The role will contribute to identifying inefficiencies, tracking technical actions, and preparing recommendations aimed at optimizing asset utilization and reducing operating costs.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of RMS data for rectifiers, generators, batteries, solar systems, and other power solutions.
• Identify sites or equipment not operating according to defined standards and report performance gaps.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, dashboards, and action trackers for the Engineering Manager.
• Participate in developing technical recommendations for field and O&M teams: configuration, sizing, and optimal use of equipment.
• Support the follow-up of warranty claims, review technical documents, and test new products.
• Participate, under supervision, in technical audits and checks related to SHEQ requirements.

Requirements for the Role:

• Recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related field.
• Understanding of a telecommunications tower, its components, and related technologies.
• Strong interest in performance engineering, energy efficiency, field operations, and renewable energy.
• Good command of French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
