What we do
We build, acquire, lease up, and operate telecommunications towers that can accommodate and power the needs of multiple tenants. Our tenants are the major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and we serve them across nine high-growth markets (8 in Africa + Oman in the Middle East). Overview
As a Geographic Information System (GIS) Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Geographic Information System (GIS) models and databases.
Location: London
This role requires in-office attendance from Monday to Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
Role Responsibilities:
- As a GIS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, building, updating, upgrading, maintaining, and modifying automated statistical models.
- Developing and managing SQL and spatial databases (GeoDB) dedicated to the statistical model.
- Performing exploratory and predictive statistical analyses (regression, MFA, hypothesis testing, clustering) to isolate profitable locations and other revenue leakages.
- Preparing dataset for analyses.
- Performing complex Spatial Analyses.
- Developing, validating and testing of new models for commercial valuation of sites.
- Optimising current Python models.
- Automating current manual processes into a Python script.
Role requirements
- To succeed in the role, you will have:
- Experience in developing scripts within market-leading Statistical software, such as R, SAS or equivalent.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R.
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle.
- Experience with advanced Excel functions (pivot, model, auto-filter)

- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative and meticulous with PowerPoint presentation settings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Telecom industry knowledge is an advantage.
