Personal Assistant to the MD

Helios Towers is a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, having established one of the most extensive tower portfolios across Africa. It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in 8 markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.

1. Purpose of the role

Provide high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the MD, ensuring smooth, efficient, and proactive management of all daily activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Agenda Management & Prioritisation

- Manage the MD’s calendar with precision and anticipate priorities.

- Organise and prepare meetings, documents, briefings, and follow-up actions.

B. Administrative Excellence

- Prepare, edit, and finalise documents, correspondence, and reports.

- Maintain a structured and compliant filing system.

C. Operational & Logistical Support

- Organise business travel, travel files, and all logistical needs.

D. Internal and External Coordination

- Ensure smooth communication with internal departments and external partners.

-Organize event, workshop with external partners.

E. Proactivity & Continuous Improvement

- Identify and resolve issues before they arise.

3. Required Competencies

  • Technical: proficiency in MS Office, strong writing and organisational skills.
  • Behavioural: proactivity, rigour, discretion, strong communication.

4. Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a similar field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

-Previous experience as PA is mandatory in a multicultural environment is a must.
