Role Overview

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function in Congo-Brazzaville. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor management processes to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services, while driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Leading procurement initiatives, supplier negotiations, and tendering processes to deliver value and cost savings.
  • Establishing and maintaining supplier databases, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and reporting mechanisms, driving improvements where needed.
  • Implementing and optimising logistics processes to support project mobilisation and enhance profitability.
  • Collaborating with budget holders and stakeholders to ensure effective forecasting, planning, and cost control.
  • Developing and coaching the SCM team to build capacity, drive performance, and ensure succession readiness.
  • Supporting governance, ethics management, and corporate compliance across all SCM activities.

 

Requirements for the Role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Experience in telecoms, oil & gas, power, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of managing and improving SCM processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and project management capabilities.
  • Fluency in French and English (Arabic language skills are an advantage).
  • Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt certification (preferred).
