Overview
As a SHEQ Advisor at Helios Towers, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of the company’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) strategy across operations and supply chain partners.
You will act as a key influence across internal and external stakeholders to strengthen risk management, promote continuous improvement and ensure adherence to SHEQ standards. The role requires a proactive professional who can operate independently, uphold high levels of integrity and champion SHEQ excellence across the business.

Role Responsibilities:
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the implementation of the Helios Towers SHEQ strategy across the OpCo and supply chain partners.
- Assisting in the development, review and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
- Conducting risk assessments and supporting the identification and mitigation of operational risks.
- Performing scheduled and ad hoc inspections of sites and offices to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
- Identifying and reporting non-conformance issues and driving corrective actions to improve quality and safety performance.
- Supporting SHEQ reporting, data management and document control to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitating and supporting compliance with ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
- Conducting investigations and audits, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
- Supporting the delivery of SHEQ training programs and tracking progress across operations.
- Supporting the implementation of Group SHEQ initiatives and campaigns across the business.
Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent).
- IRCA Approved Lead Auditor Training (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SHEQ-related role within maintenance and/or construction environments.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation and engaging effectively with partners and contractors.
- Strong understanding of SHEQ principles, risk management, and continuous improvement practices.
