Overview

As an Administrative Assistant - Legal & Regulatory at Helios Towers Ghana, you will provide short-term administrative support to the Legal and Regulatory function by organising documents, optimising storage and supporting compliance-related administrative tasks.

 

You will play an important role in ensuring legal and regulatory documents are properly sorted, classified, filed and maintained in line with internal document management standards. The role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented and confidential individual who can work collaboratively with the Legal & Regulatory team to maintain an accessible and up-to-date document repository.

Role Responsibilities

As Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Organising, sorting and classifying legal and regulatory documents.
  • Ensuring proper filing of documents in line with internal document management standards.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date, accessible and well-structured document repository.
  • Providing day-to-day administrative assistance to the Legal & Regulatory team.
  • Supporting document management, filing and records administration activities.
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Supporting compliance-related administrative tasks as required by the function.
  • Using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and SharePoint or similar platforms, to support document organisation and reporting.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure documents are accurately maintained and easily retrievable.
  • Supporting timely completion of assigned administrative deliverables.

 

Requirements for the Role

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Basic understanding of document management and administrative processes.
  • Experience in document management, filing or records administration.
  • Exposure to a legal or regulatory environment would be an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, SharePoint or similar tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Clear understanding of deliverables and the ability to meet deadlines.
